While you get to avoid typing a lot of the code, you often still have to go back and make modifications, reducing efficiency and limiting use cases. With most snippet managers, you just have a library of code blocks that you add to your document and then edit accordingly. It works with most code editors, either natively or via plugins.
It uses patterns and variables provided by the user to generate code, making it more powerful than a classic snippet manager that can only store specific blocks of text. TeaCode helps you by making it easier to type lines of code. We're far from that being feasible, but snippet managers and code expanders can make a huge difference. Everyone's trying to make coding more efficient, some going so far as to automate the whole process.
